Give the tailor two to three weeks. That means buying the shirting, suiting and pant material on your first visit to us, not your last — it is the fabric families leave for the end, and then run short of time for.

A pancha and its kanduva are woven as a matched pair. Buy them on the same trip, from the same bolt of cloth — two 'off-white' or two 'cream' pieces bought separately, weeks apart, can look faintly mismatched under stage lighting even when they looked identical in the shop.
